Thrust World began way back in 1996. It has always had one golden rule - "The Service is run by gamers for gamers". It all started with a single Quake World server which soon established itself as being one of the best maintained servers with the lowest ping times around. Through providing a quality and dedicated service the membership rose rapidly. Thrust World soon established an Internet link and moved its servers to the central Internet exchange - right on the backbone. In April 1997 history was made as Europe's first Internet Games Provider was lauched.
